A NOTE FROM ERYN

My interior design career path has been a meandering journey and has resulted in my bringing a unique and different perspective to the "design table". I began my professional life as a Registered Nurse working primarily in labor & delivery. As my family began to grow, my love for interior design did as well. Requests for my design services encouraged me to further my education through an on-line New York based interior design program and unintentionally, my career path took a clear turn. For the first 10 years I was co-founder and designer of a boutique design firm in Manhattan, KS, working alongside my best friend and business partner. We did a deep dive into all things interior and design, learned the ins-and-outs of the construction world, and began an exciting journey on whole-home custom builds.

In January 2020, it became clear that our family needed to relocate to the Dallas area, and once again the road dipped and swayed in a direction never anticipated and full of challenges as we left the well loved known and ventured into the unclear, overgrowth of new and uncharted.

Through our meandering, I sold the one-of-a-kind historic home that we were never going to leave and moved into a temporary rental that had little opportunity for personalization. I gained a new understanding of how to embrace "where you are" and making it beautiful along the way.

 

What hasn't changed with the new surroundings is my love for working with motivated and trusting clients to design homes that reflects their story. I delight in starting with what my clients have and love while bringing in artfully curated pieces, new and old, that create the balanced formula customizing their space and their needs. here | now...not where I thought I would be...not where we have been...not where we are going...but where we are...right here, right now
